1964 South American Tour, “Virtual 40th Anniversary Reunion”

On day 65, April 4th, 1964, we were in Sao Paulo, Brazil (Free day).

Friends,

This site was created to commemorate the 40th year since our adventure in South America. We had a wonderful 25th reunion in person and a less happy 30th one, due to Maestro Goodman’s illness and eventual passing. Unlike physical reunions, though, this one can just keep going (like the Energizer® bunny).

From January 31st to June 4th, the “where we were” line above will track our progress from day to day on that specific date. The rest of the year, it will show a random day’s activity.

This is your site, not mine. If you’re seeing it for the first time, you can join in quickly by going to the “people” page and sending a brief biographical update. Then send pictures and stories that you want to share with others (info on each page). I’d also welcome any comments and suggestions; please contact me by email: thetour@tomjewett.com.
