Full-Time Instructional Faculty The mission of the CSULB University Police Department is to provide the campus community leadership by establishing a secure and peaceful learning atmosphere.  CSULB Police officers undergo training specially designed to meet the needs and problems of a contemporary university community.  All University Police Officers receive training on tolerance and diversity to better serve a diverse ethnic population.  The University Police Department has a written agreement with the Long Beach Police Department which defines and details operational authority pursuant to Kristin Smart Campus Safety Act of 1998, SB 1729.
