Web accessibility is not about "legal compliance." It is about caring for people. Accessible web sites make it possible for everyone—fully abled, low vision, blind, deaf, motor-impaired, dyslexic, second-language readers, and more—to enjoy equally effective access to information, 24/7. Accessibility is a new mind set for developers—provide content first, then let the user be in control of the cool looks and slick features. Not least, accessibility is about using modern standards-based development techniques that save developers time and money.
